Corporate and Private Hire during the 2012 Summer Olympic Games
On the 27th July 2012 London will be the host of the Summer Olympics, the only city in the world to have hosted the games 3 times having previously done so in 1948 and 1908.
Situated on the bank of the river Thames, Camino's huge south-west facing terrace makes it one of the best places to enjoy the Olympics in London. The bar and restaurant are large and boast spectacular views of the city. It's the ideal venue for a sit down meal or a more vibrant event.
Camino's Head Chef, Nacho del Campo, has created a superb menu which showcases the best of Spanish tapas, Arroz Negro (a stunning black seafood paella with squid ink) and delicious dishes from the charcoal grill, including Pulpo a la Parrila (octopus tentacle) and Presa Iberica (deep-red Iberico pork). Also new to the menu is the Cochinillo, a roasted whole suckling pig from Aragon. A fantastic sharing experience.
Impress clients with the very best wines from the country, including spectacular examples from Ribera del Duero, Priorat and of course Rioja – wines that last year saw Camino named as a finalist in the national Louis Roederer Wine List of the Year Awards.
The location means that travelling to the venues and around London during the Olympics could not be easier with direct tube, bus, DLR and Thames Clipper (docks on Camino's doorstep) transport links.
Camino Puerto del Canario is available for private hire throught out the games, 27th July - 12th August.
